Colombian Coffee overview

Origin Story

Colombia — Where Altitude Meets Craft

Colombia is one of the world’s most respected coffee origins — and for good reason. Its equatorial position, volcanic soils, and dramatic Andean elevations create growing conditions that few countries can match. Cooler temperatures at altitude slow the maturation of the coffee cherry, allowing sugars and aromatic compounds to develop gradually. The result is coffee with bright, lively acidity, layered sweetness, pronounced citrus and floral notes, and exceptional clarity and balance in the cup.

Aveem sources directly from Colombian farms, protecting quality at origin and ensuring fair, transparent trade. Through precise selection, controlled processing, and seamless logistics, each bean arrives with its story intact.

Growing Regions

Where Our Colombian Coffee Grows

Nariño specialty farms at dawn

Nariño

Our prime Colombian origin. Recognized globally for its extraordinary microclimates and high-altitude volcanic terrain, Nariño — in the southern Colombian Andes — produces some of the most exceptional coffees available anywhere. Our specialty lots are grown at 1,600–2,200 metres above sea level, with select micro-lots reaching 2,300 metres.

Our Promise

A New Standard in Green Coffee

For many years, Aveem Corporation DMCC has been a trusted leader in containerized imports to the Middle East. Today, we extend that legacy into Colombian green coffee — with the same precision, reliability, and scale our partners expect. As members of the DMCC Coffee Hub, we bring the Middle East some of the world's most exceptional Colombian coffee.

  1. Direct Sourcing

Grown at high altitudes and sourced directly from Colombian farms. No unnecessary intermediaries. Every bean traceable to origin.

  2. Container-Scale Reliability

Three decades of container-import expertise. Consistent supply, traceability, freshness, and on-time delivery at scale.

  3. Cupped and Graded at Origin

Every specialty lot carries an official SCA cupping score, documented before it leaves the loading port.

Our Coffee Farmers

The Human Touch Behind Every Bean

Equally vital as the land is the care and dedication of our smallholder farmers. For generations, families have cultivated coffee here with patience, pride, and deep respect for the land. Coffee is not just a crop — it is a craft passed from parents to children, refined harvest by harvest.

  1. Selective Hand-Picking

Farmers pass through their plots multiple times per harvest, selecting only cherries at peak ripeness.

  2. Careful Post-Harvest Processing

Washed, natural, or specially fermented — every processing step is controlled at origin, where cup character is locked in.

  3. Small-Lot Attention

Instead of blending large volumes, our farmers work in small lots — each carrying a unique, genuine profile.

It is this human craftsmanship that turns Colombia's natural advantages into a refined and authentic cup — one that carries the story of the land and the people who nurture it.
